Default ordered a blower for the GTO

Ordered an ATI procharger D1SC a few minutes ago. Should be good for another 150 RWHP on a stock motor, 500+ rwhp with some minor upgrades

dunno, have to pull the radiator and install a power steering cooler and drill a hole in the crank and a few other oddities.
I went with an SC because of the dynos I've seen, and the price difference and easier install vs a twin turbo kit. The TT needs to relocate the battery to the already cramped trunk and muck about with the headers. I'll do that when I add long tubes and a cat back for much power increase.

I honestly don't think you can go wrong on the LS1, but the prochargers have a great rep so we'll see. Can't shake a stick at 50% HP gain with a bolt on, intercooled kit.

Perhaps more since I'm so freaking high in altitude.
I'll cam it for a little more power and some lope, do the headers and exhaust and probably be done.

actually it's not costing me any more to drive than my chipped/injected A4 1.8T
I'm averaging about 21mpg cobined in the monaro and about 22 in the audi, go figure.

stil no sign of the supercharger, but I installed a lingenfelter fuel pump yesterday, it's just a walbro pump and some adapters basically, but it's supposed to be a decent pump. The GTO uses the return line to fill the fuel pump canister so a good pump is mega important I guess.

Shitty install since the tank is mounted between the rear seat and the trunk, basically IN the trunk behind a crash bar and some fabric. Have to remove the whole tank.

Should have just installed a pierburg

Hey Philip why did you not go with the STS rear mounted turbo kits?

Because it sucks
My other option would have been an australian TT kit, but I would have had to relocate the battery to the already cramped trunk and didn't want to.
The ATI D1SC will put out more HP than I will ever run on a stock bottom end.

******* sent me a crank pully/balancer that won't mate with the SC pully that bolts to it. Now I'm pissed. You spend $5k with some ******* and he can't even get it the **** right.

same kit I'm doing, well mostly. I've got the D1SC which is a better blower than the P1SC.

Maybe upgrade to a smaller pulley

Wrong end. You change the blower pulley, not the crank.

feel free to come down and do my install for me
I'll post a dyno chart once it's tuned. I'd expect somewhere around 450 to the wheels but we'll see. With long tube headers and a cam 500 shouldn't be a problem.
