so me and my friend in my miata pull up next to a black SVT taurus, and the guy gives us a funny look like were retarted or somehting. So when the light turned green I engauged the clutch the floored it (no launch), till about 55 mph in 2ed. He chirps 2ed gear, but is already falling back. I beat him by about 6 car lengths, and im getting readdy to laugh at him at the next light, when he pulls into a wawa and turns around just so he dident pull up next to me! Me and my friend were laughing our asses off, its so nice having a quick miata..

I mean ill give him credit that a 185 lb kid and a 210lb kid do look sorta funny in a miata...

There's a hell of a lot of old taurus's on the road so they can't be that unreliable. My mom had one and put vover 200K on it and never had a problem.
