What's this wrecked '91 worth?
Local used car dealer has this 'beauty available. Last i looked, 4 months ago he wanted $1800 for it. Considering he has had it that long though i'm sure price is negotiable. It's a '91(pretty sure), bone stock. The real price dropper is the salvage title. Needs a drivers door, driver front fender, bumper, and the headlight lid appears to be messed up. which might be fixable with a new lid. It also need a dash trim ring(the rare part) cause someone apparently stole it or something. Otherwise the car appears to be clean. I might just go drive it for the heck of it. Haven't been in a 1.6 in a long while. Sorry for the bad cell picture.
I'm not sure it would be worth my time. If I got it for around a grand I bet I could do the body panel installs myself no worries. So as for body panels i would prob be into it about... what do you say ~$700 tops as long as I'm not shipping anything. Then I know there is a local guy that does decent paint for a good price. So I have $2k in it then, what's it worth in good shape? ~$2800?
Sounds like it wouldn't be worth my time unless i picked it up dirt cheap.
Now that i type all that out it sounds like a parts car. To bad I don't have an NA or any reason to have a parts car.

You don't mention mileage or possible SNC.
It's not worth $2800 unless it's only got like 30k miles on it.
Good examples with some mods or perhaps a hardtop are less... just gotta be patient and look. I can almost promise you'll be sorry you bought it and in the end will have way more than your predicted $2800 in it.

I'd give no more than 1k for it, probably much less. The guy hasn't fixed it because he knows he can't get the money back out of it even if it's repaired. That car is a good spec miata starter.... LOL. Even then it might be bent at the frame, proceed with caution. I might consider parting so I could buy a nice miata.

If it runs and drives, the top and interior are both good, good tires, etc
$500.
Because of the damage and salvage title this is a parts car or SM race car. Not worth the $, time, hassle to make it road legal again.
