Why do this to a $70 car? Oh wait, that's right, you have to go back 20 years to find IRS.

But to get over 600WHP, a semi truck sized turbo is required, and about 28-30lbs of boost.

Lingenfelter has a streetable 1518 HP TT Vette now.
A little pricey, but hey, GT500's aren't cheap. (and cant do 226 in a standing mile run) Also has full interior and Ac. ALso has a calculated top speed of 300 Mph. and gets 1300RWHP @ 23PSI, and 1100RWHP on 93 OCT.

This Corvette is not a stripped down race car and still has the full interior, stock seats & air conditioning. The car still has the factory style independent rear suspension and could be a daily driver. The car is fitted with a Lingenfelter six point roll bar with side bar swing outs and Simpson 5 point harnesses. The tires used where standard production Michelin Pilot Sport PS2, mounted on HRE 840R series wheels.
Even if the car is "streetable", I'd still run R comps on it.

That lingenfelter should beat the ZR1 to pulp unless chevy has some electronic wizardry in the ZR1's suspension.

I don't beleive this is a comfortable street drive. 1300hp is ridiculous. I beleive in "too much power".

Slightest bit too much throttle on the highway at speed would cause some serious things to happen.

my daddy had an 1100whp dual turbo c5z that I've driven. TPS based boost control makes anything drivable. You just have to realize that in cars like that, there are draconian penalties for stomping on the long pedal when going any direction but straight.

It also walked 1 liter bikes.

I've driven a handfull of cars that were scary until they went to a dyno, then got faster and better behaved.

Why are there so many turbo vettes in texas?

Considering I just finished a 5000 word paper on the "individual right" not the "collective right" to bear arms. I disagree.
