Just received a flyer in mail with a super coupon on this. $399 with coupon. There arent any reviews on their site yet. It appears to be a WEN 56200i and they have great reviews on amazon. The engine is a copy of the yamaha and very quiet.

If that's true, I will pick one up. I missed out on the WEN the other day when it was a WOOT deal of the day on Amazon for $360. I'll never find it for that price again, so this would be the next best option. Was it on sale plus a 20% off coupon, or was it a coupon for $399? If the latter, I'll look for it, because a lot of the 20% coupons can exclude generators.

I havent confirmed but i read that the yamaha is made in china. It is possible that the WEN engine is made in same factory as the yamaha.

That is the gen 1 inverter. It is marketed under a bunch of brands and not very quiet from my understanding

My local store has both gen 1/2 in stock, so i drove down to take a look. Unfortunately, they didnt have any out of the box to put my mitts on. I am very curious about them. I originally wanted the yamaha ef2000is but my inner cheap won out and i bought two champions for the price of one yamaha.

I have been real happy with the champions. My only complaint is they are slightly awkward to carry being overly square. They are really quiet, even under load. You can have a normal conversation, standing directly above them. Last time i used them, i could hear my neighbor's (100 yards away) over mine (while standing over them).

Just got a 25% off coupon good for Labor Day only in the mail.

What items are good to blow the 25% on? I don't know if there is anything specific I'm in need of at the moment, just curios what the best deals/items are when using the 25% coupon...

I need to print out the 25% coupon. Not sure what I need, but I may swing by just to grab something.

These days the big coupons aren't good on anything over $5 that you actually want to buy. Just bait to get you in the store. You used to be able to BS a cashier every once in a while, but that doesn't seem to work anymore.

I just looked at the 25% labor day coupon, and in addition to the usual exceptions (pretty much everything), they've added a bunch of stuff by specific brand.

There are some good coupons in the flyer... I think I might pick up a 5k winch for my trailer.

What company is that? What value does buying stuff from your company offer me over buying from HF?

That essentially means don't buy anything at Harbor Freight.

Ramsey Winch.

Longevity, ability to actually make pulls at the indicated rated capacity, supporting American jobs vs chinese companies that buy American made products, reverse engineer them, stealing the IP and making them with subpar quality parts.

a friend used one to paint his airplane in. the one to get is this: 10 ft. x 17 ft. Portable Garage.
the tubes are bigger 1.34" as opposed to 1.27 for the other two. when i got mine they only charged me 6.99 shipping, even though now the website says overweight charges might apply.i think the fabric would stand up to ultraviolet for 4 or 5 years anyway.
