1.5 watt solar battery charger $11.84

Works fine to keep car battery from being drained by alarm or other minor draws while parked. The plastic case the panel resides in, however, didn't like to be in the sun and has curled up separating the top and bottom half. It does what it is supposed to do for $12 but isn't pretty anymore. Have owned it for about a year. Overall a win.

It's been there for as long as I can remember, possibly since he joined?

Major win. It cuts everything I've used it on very nicely, including a piece of railroad track.

Then you can get one of these and also have a vertical bandsaw. Attach it to a vise or add legs. I have a different version, running a dewalt.

Anyone have any info on either of the dust collection systems they sell? I need one for sanding dust from my wood lathe.

There was a good article for a homebuilt collection system to pair with a shopvac in the latest Fine Homebuilding magazine. I'll scan the article if you want. Magazine print subscription doesn't allow digital for the same $$.

It's a pretty inexpensive DIY (I haven't built it yet).

PITA.

I have heard that the dust blowers are not as loud as a shop vac. I'd like to know, as I have a nearly new Craftsman vac, but it's really too loud to be running it while I am turning.

Thanks. I think I'll pull the trigger as soon as I find a sale coupon.

Default Harbor Freight 60 gal 2 Stage refurb'd compressor $159 + $99 shipping

This is a sensational deal IMO. I have the single stage (cheap) version of this compressor and it has served me excellent. All out I paid double this when it was on sale.
