Haha, that happened to me a few weeks ago. Guy pulls up and says he has some "extra" stuff from and install job he did. I politely told him to keep it moving.

Yeah I saw this happen last fall, they were in the middle of trying to con some other guy... I was around the truck, parked, for some reason they didn't seem to interested in me, but this other guy was getting worked over, "I don't really have the money, I would have to go a bank machine, bla bla". In any case I had just bought a new Yahama receiver and Polk speakers, so they could take a flying leap with their crap/scam. I knew it was garbage. If it said Nakamichi or some ****, I would take a second look

I didn't know this one was still going on. DiVinci "bargains" out of a truck were available when I was in college back in the 80's. They love to work college towns.

Maybe I should forward that guy some of my email. Tons of hot chicks are waiting to get naked for me!

One time my friends stopped and talked to these guys, all they need was like an extra 30$ from me and they would have enough to buy the speakers at the price the guys said was dead bottom.

I told them they were fucktards and they still don't believe me that it was a scam. "No dude its totally legit".

Those kids are fucktards.

There is a guy I know in N. Dallas who sells Divinci on eBay. Actually makes some good money at it. He has had his ID listed as a scammer a few times, so he just does a new one. His answer to complaints is always:

"You got it for $300 dollars, what did you expect?"

This scam has been around for ages. Enough people must have forgotten about it to make it a viable scam again.
