There were a few people that were local to me on that forum, that was my only reason for going. None of them could ever seem to get off their asses to meet up, even if it had been planned weeks in advance and they had said they would show.

I never left the midwest area. It looked like the rest was poor rim fitment, too much camber, and ill fitting tires.

Yes, for the most part. It wasn't always that way, but it has certainly gone very downhill in the past year or so. Because of this, I pretty much stay in the off topic section and the Texas threads.

It used to be a place where there was some innovation and variety...the stuff that wasn't found between m.net and here. Cool stuff was easy to find. Then, one day, the only cool thing to do was to slamamammamamamamannnmnsnman you car on Sportmaxxes (but first you had to make at least 3 different threads asking what the best tire is, what the wheels are, what the offset is and if the fenders need to be rolled) and get a OEM r-lip. Gone were the days of variety, gone were the days of cool parts from other parts of the world, gone are the days where sheap chinese parts ruled the market, gone are the days where people were more willing to spend hard-earned cash on their cars...

And started the days where making money, promoting thieving ******ry, and not giving a **** about your site and leaving it to a few morons to run it to the ground became more important

Tim probably cries himself to sleep at night. Had he'd known the site was going to be overrun by the SoCal slamburglers, the site probably wouldn't exist today.

After my last experience with that ****** fest, I'd rather chuck my Adaptronic in the trash than list it on there for sale.
