Default Help, suggest the best Xbox 360 Car Simulator game

My new brother-in-law has the XBox 360 and I want to buy him the best car driving simulator for Christmas. I don't really like the chezzy fast-n-furious kind, more like Grand Turismo/real type cars. What do you all suggest?

Thanks.

Tim

Forza 2 for the 360 will be out sometime in early 2007. The first Forza for Xbox was better in many ways than GT4. At the moment, the closest thing you'll find is Project Gotham 3, and that's still way, way arcade-y compared to Forza and GT.

I'd get PG3 and just try to enjoy it until Forza 2 comes out

I don't think you'll be happy with Project Gotham. I did see an xbox360 steering wheel controller at bestbuy yesterday.

Moto GP is pretty realistic, if he's into motorcycles.

i thought motogp was just too realistic. it took the fun out of it for me.

that and a few times i was looking for the shifter and rear brake with my feet.

Well, Forza doesn't come out until 2007. PGR3 can be had cheap, has lots of eye candy, and might just get the guy by until next year. Plus, you could get the fancy-schmancy new wireless steering wheel, use it PGR3 and have it warmed up and ready to go for Forza.

I know what you mean, it took me about 5 races to get good at it.

Forza is by far the best racing sim I've played. It should be backward compatible with the 360. I've found them for $7 at Gamestop.
