This is how a real winner parks.

Thats a legit handicapped van, with a fold out lift for a wheelchair. people usually park next to vans like that, so the driver either has to park really far away in a vacant section of parking lot, or diagonally in the handicapped spot.

the fold out lift takes up a lot of room, plus it has guard rails on the sides, so you need an additional 4 foot clearance to maneuver the wheelchair onto it. Even more clearance if it's a powered wheelchair...

anyhoo

City cops: Note on Wegmans receipt led to arrest - News - The Leader - Corning, NY

Corning city police had no problem finding the man who allegedly slammed his driver side door into a Chevy Silverado pickup truck that he thought was parked too close to his car April 4 in the Wegmans parking lot.

Matthew J. Hurd, 37, of 390 Watauga Ave., Corning, allegedly hit the pickup twice with his driver side door and then left a note under a front windshield wiper blade that read “Nice park job a..hole enjoy your new dents.”

Police said the note was written on Hurd’s Wegmans receipt and he used his Shopper’s Club card during the transaction, giving police his name and address.

The dents caused nearly $1,000 damage the the pickup truck. Hurd was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, a class E felony. He was arraigned in Corning City Court and released on his own recognizance.

Fuuuurd aluminum pickup, eazy.

Breaking it down; Edmunds is saying the body repair for those sledgehammer slugs would have taken ten hours at $60 an hour on steel truck for a bill of $600. On aluminum, it's twenty hours at $120 for a total of $2,400.

i was in a shop 5 years ago, had a monkey hit my rear quarter panel while chatting away on her phone.

They buffed out the quarter panel and replaced the bumper. 3.5 k but the insurance paid it.

I rear ended a Cavalier at 5 mph. Scuffed up my bumper really bad. Put a scratch in his. Cost me $2000. They replaced the bumper, the bumper supports, the fuel tank, and the evap canister. Or at least it was all on the bill. I'm sure the guy pocketed the $2k

What's odd about that?
That's how you park in Paris, bumper bars are essential for parking (surprised the hell out of me when I first saw it and that no-one seemed concerned).
