Default my other car's forum

So a few weeks ago I realized my miata doesn't have Power steering, air conditioning, carpet, power windows, room for more than two, room for more than two cubic feet of cargo, and wasn't very comfertable.

all this made me decided to go get a new car, which ended up being a 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer.

Naturally, I decided to look around the internet for a forum for the car and stumbled upon this:

http://www.mitsubishi-forums.com/f89-2008-lancer.htm

And after reading a few topics, I have to say that I am incredibly glad this forum exists. it is so nice to ask a technical question and actually get a logical, correct answer.

the guys over at the mitsu forums are all about tinting windows, figuring out how to change oil, discussing which bitrates are compatible with the MP3 cd player, and asking now to take the headrest covers off so they can stitch their initials in.

I'd rather join in on some of the stupid arguments over at m.net then at the mitsu forum, I haven't even bothered registering

Yes, I posted a technical question on IS300.net and got a bunch of morons giving me stupid answers. Needless to say I called my friend who is a mechanic and he solved it w/o even looking at the car.

oh I'm not kissing ***, just stating my opinion.

and I'm sure I'll eventually skip starbucks one morning and pay the $3.50, but the miata's girly enough as is, I don't need a pink name to go along with it.

Philllllip,

How'd you know about West Linn's money! Lotsa big homes, gates, views, etc. A lot of the stuff I sell goes into homes there.

Curly,

You shudda bought my Saab 9-5 Aero I'm selling. Get's just a good mileage with a whole lot more of everything. Likely just as reliable too.

Good to know you're familiar with our stomping grounds here in the Portland area. Did you move to bigger and better things, greener pastures or running from the law?

no ways, philip live in west linn, its almost like a celebrity, but not.

I'm in OC now anyways, just haven't updated my profile.

I'll agree with the money statement though. when I was growing up my parents were more middle class of west linn, only living half way up hidden springs, not at the top, circa barington heights.

my friends dad has a 10,000 sq ft. house up on pete's mt. for himself, wife, and step kid. that's basically 3,333 sq ft. for the damn ten year old.
