Delema going to look at both of these bikes. The Honda has 62,000 miles, is 100% bone stock and in excelent condition for a 1983. $1500
The Suzuki has 32,000 miles, is an 86, with rebuilt head, comp cams, and a custom built 4-2-1 exhaust. In very clean condition as well, but has not been registered since 2006. Owner is willing to split the DMV fees $1200 for bike.
which bike does MT.net think. I am kinda leaning towards the Suzi, mainly because I love Suzuki. But the Honda has a huge following, and parts are a little easier.

Went and looked at the Honda tonight. It is what we call a 10 footer. Looks damn good from 10'. Never dropped, but none of the body panels match, Front fairng is cracked and has been repainted (shotty too). It has new tires, chain, and sprockets. It starts right up first try, but has some nasty piston slap, and it sounds like it needs new chain guides and tensioners. Oil was pretty clean too, belongs to an older gentleman that has 2 more of them. I have a feeling this was the bastard child parts bike to build the others.
Friday I look at the Suzi
