Yeah, the green one (anole) really likes to go outside. Surprisingly he likes being handled and just runs around all the time.

Did you find the anole in the wild? We have cuban anoles where i live and they about 14 inches from head to tail with a nasty demeanor. I just picked up 2 leopard geckos

Those are pretty cool, what do they eat? Like crickets, carrots and stuff?

Crickets. They won't eat anything that is not moving...

We have tons of lizards that look like that green one that thrive in the wild here in Louisiana. They don't generally let you hold them though.

That's crazy how docile that anole is. I had a few as a kid that were caught from the wild and they're not typically pets you can play with. Even ones I had for a couple years. Very cool.

I used to work at PETCO. The Anoles were a PITA because they were decently quick and loved to try and escape any time we removed one or put in food.

+1 on movement to stimulate feeding. Meal worms will be OK, but you need to make sure they are nice and twitchy before you put them in, and put them in right in front of the lizard or they just burrow down and emerge as beetles later.

Leopards are great, they look cool, they are fun to handle, they are cheap to maintain, and they do well in general. Mine just died a few months ago, after 8 years and 6 moves.

For some real fun take a look at Tokay Geckos. Nasty mean, very active. Do not hold one.

We have those everywhere down here. I literally cannot go half a day outside without seeing one of those.

I had one that looked exactly like that as a kid. It died and the crickets ate its eyes.

I have a tokay and after two weeks of 20mins a day of handling, shes finally tame. No barking, no biting
