Are you kidding me? So if everyone around you has the same thing happening to them, it is not a prudent and reasonable thing to suspect that it could happen to you? This is called induction, and modern science has strong overtones of this type of thinking in it, and it IS, to a limited degree, valid logic.
I guess we shouldn't learn from the mistakes those who came before us have made either? I'm not intrinsically better than anyone else, and I won't live long enough to make them all myself...
And your example is poor. If there are 1,000 people in a population, and 100 are gay, that is a fact and it is not up for debate. It is NECESSARILY the case that, 1 in your group is gay, or there is another group of 10 homies that has at least 2 to make up for the missing gay.
Stop making this some after-school special, disney channel, tween dating, love is a battle-field, bullshit. You've explained that you dig this hoe, lots. And she is worth your life. Roger.
You don't just up and quit your job and all of the sudden pack all your **** and GTFO. That's some food-stamp, Walmart people type ****. You aren't on TV, and we aren't waiting for your breathless romantic return to your girl before the credits roll.
Handle your **** like a grownup, start looking for work where she is, Plan your **** and start behaving like you 'bout yo paper. There is no reason this has to be a "her or the car" type of situation.
