Default how daily driveable is a short bus?

200rwhp..?

guy telling me it is virtually impossible to keep a 200hp miata on the road and an lsd is an absolute waste of money unless you are a professional drifter...

is the problem the horsepower, or his retardedness?

that there's a limited amount of slip or lock between the two rear wheels, thus not smoking the inside tire on hard cornering and transferring power to the outside wheel aswell?

enough for you?

+6 on retardedness.

I have a 'stock' and can a WORLD of difference in the torsen vs whatever was in there. That and seriously, with decent tires and a not so lead foot, I don't see why it couldn't be a DD

In case the vernacular used in the title change doesn't make sense to you in the Nederlands... The "Short Bus" refers to the bus the "mentally challenged" students take to school. I can't understand why someone would question the driveability of what is, by today's standards, modest horsepower. I also can't understand how a forum member would spend 2 seconds listening to someone who believes that. Even your basic econo boxes have LSD's and 200+hp now.

yes 200whp on a miata at 2300lbs equates to 230 or so bhp and a 10-1 power to wieght ratio. Or just a little better than a S2K

s2k isn't a lightweight. About 2850 ... more than 500lbs more than my car (according to the local bigrig scale). The s2k also puts down only about 165ft/lbs of torque and 237hp (maybe 210whp).

I'm just sayin'

Completely retarded individual. Appearantly this guy has never heard of, well, any sports car/saloon. By that very same logic the WRX STi and Evolution IX are impossible to keep on the road. Same with a Dodge Viper, Z06, etc.,etc. Tell the ******* that he's a retard of the highest magnitude and drooling down's syndrome kids make fun of him.
