My Dell notebook is dead after 2 years. How long should I try living "computer free"?

You should not try at all. I think you need a top of the line Macbook Air to fit in with the rest of the bike hipsters that you have been hanging out with.

Yes, unless you are old and don't bend well.

Atlanta drivers; worst in the world. Theyve elevated Aggressive Stupidity to an art form, and that's coming from a guy who cut his teeth driving in and around NYC, has commuted in Denver, and has spent 20 years among the nearly-as-bad Aggressively Stupid drivers here in Jacksonville. (Jacksonville is pretty much Atlanta's Low Rent Mouth Breather Cousin in most ways.). But those ATL drivers take the prize by being *exponentially* worse. It's like a mass-hallucination of the movie "Speed" where a bomb would destroy them if their speedo went under 85 mph. Driving up I-75 I can always tell when I'm near Atlanta by the first sighting of a ragtag Buick Park Ave with dark tint and four bald tires slashing across 8 lanes of traffic at 100 mph.

It's probably not too different lol. Seriously, the crime here is getting out of hand, the DOT has no plans/solutions to help traffic or fix poorly designed roads, public education is a joke (we have a lovely on-going story of an entire board being ousted for running a system into the ground- and the ousted members trying to sue to get their job back), too much thuggary (goes with crime).

Great place to live when a 14 yr old girl is shot while selling candy in her neighborhood (not accidental). "Clayton County police say the girl was selling candy Monday afternoon when a car approached. A shot was fired from inside the car, and the unidentified girl was wounded in her abdomen."

As for the drivers- Yes...but speed isn't the evil, I speed mainly because it's about the safest way for me to get around...I can choose where I am and what cars around me be going slightly faster than everybody else. I never just sit in a pack or alongside other cars...ever.. It's the masses of "I ain't need to look before I do anything" SUV drivers, rednecks in trucks and hoodrats in shitty old Olds/Buicks/Chargers/Monte Carlos/Camaros, cab drivers who treat the streets like they are in Mumbai or Nairobi. Just the other day, right in front of a state patrol officer, a woman in a SUV decided she was going to change lanes and that she was too good to look before doing so. I know this because I could see her in her pax. side mirror very clearly. I blasted the horn but she did not care, just ran me out of my lane on the interstate. Even with me next to her, she did not look over...too high and mighty to be bothered with taking responsibility for her actions...like many black woman drivers in this city. This has happened way too many times.

You know, in all down-to-Earth honesty, if 90% of "incidents" with drivers are all of a specific skin color, then it is fair game to describe such drivers. Atlanta is 54% black and 38% white.

I don't think i need to pull numbers for black/white people in Detroit... But it's much higher than Atlanta, i'll say that.

I just did a short trip to get some food on lunch. 5 minute drive. I had 2 black ladys pull out in front of me. One backed out of a driveway with 0 regard to any traffic, and one cut me off to get into a turn lane she was about to miss.

Not that there isn't bad white drivers too.
It's a ratio thing.

Oh you don't have to
Ratio- exactly. If I have a constant experience with X, then when I see X, I will assume, based on learned behavior, that Z will happen.

Of coarse, outside of the city, it's suburban white SUV drivers with 47 magnets of their kid's schools and stickers of their sitck-figure family.

maybe its because 48% of those black are driving around on 24" chrome reeeeeeeemmmzzzzzz in vehicles that arent designed to handle nor give dept of view for extreme amounts of lift, and the fact that while the vehicle has massive blind spots they still choose to recline back so ******* far that they are almost lying down in the vehicle.

This is from my 2 week assessment of Atlanta drivers.

The seating position is definitely prevalent, however the retarded wheel size thing is mostly seen on shitty Dodge/Chrysler products and crappy GM SUVs. But yes, those people bother the **** out of me.
