Lol, and people question me as to why when I tell them I haven't paid for or watched network TV for the last decade.

The only time I watch network TV is to catch a football game, or some other "important" event. Otherwise I get by with internet, Hulu, Netflix or Prime.

I don't watch sports on tv. I tend to gravitate toward doing things myself on the weekends instead of watching others live their own dreams. I don't have time for another interest unless I am injured and unable to do anything.

I love the way this thread meanders from incompetence, to helpfulness, to bitching, to pretentiousness, and all shades in between.

I certainly hope I'm the pretentious one. I've always liked the sound of that word.

Well, I can spare 2 or 3 hours, one day a week or so. I'm not that busy.

I have always felt that way myself and my friends would give me **** because I didn't want to watch "the game" the last 10,000 times one has been on.

I would always say I don't live vicariously through sports, meanwhile, I'm the one that's in shape and could actually play them. Most everyone else is out of shape and sit around eating doritos getting even fatter. lol

That sucks. We didn't have a Christmas lunch. We had a Christmas party with an open bar all night, on the 38th floor of the PNC building downtown, amazing food (i.e. fresh ahi tuna seared to order) It was pretty boss. I am new relatively new to this company so I am still getting use to all the cool **** they do for their employees.

We did't have a Christmas dinner. We had sex.
We own our own business.

It especially sucks when those of us in the office jobs get our bonuses screwed over by guys on the floor not meeting THEIR targets, etc.

I guess I shouldn't complain, decent job, good pay for my age/region, and we haven't done jack **** all week with everything going on.

1st world problems.
