So why buy Rotella at walmart if it's the same price on amazon shipped? Currently both are $21.36.

My mothers ex-partner left these big piles of rocky dirty on the lawn at her place. Took hours, but I managed to remove a lot of it, rake the rocks out of it, and spread it. It still looks like crap, but the grass comes up through pretty quickly. And that's was just semi-good dirt, not amended or anything at all. If I were to do the same with the ~1000 lb pile of rotted sod/compost I have in my yard it would probably work incredibly well. I actually have potatoes running through it at the moment.

Anyway, it works pretty well, particularly with a non-clingy soil that does not have much clay content. The grass will punch through quite well. Chances are next spring the lawn will look pretty great.

Or you could just fricken do some weed and feed, aerate if needed, and get the same effect now, with similar work levels, and only slightly more cost.

Oh the horror. Where are those apostrophe police when you need them.
(Wasn't this just a recent topic?)

Funny, I can live with "wasnt", but for some strange reason "mines" has always just stabbed be right in the eye whenever I see it.

mines typically blow up in be's face; not stab his eye.

Your wife is unnecessarily selfish. Or you are naive. This has never been a secret:

This is what Brain was talking about.

Edit: ****. I just realized that even they use an apostrophe and I'm pretty sure English isn't their first language.

Well, thanks for the tip, and my guess is that it's more like a shared naivete. Otherwise . . .

1987 Fiero GT. Fairly clean, recent engine refresh. Less than $3000. Yea or nay?

How much less? If $2,900 less, I'd probably grab it for the scrap value.

Was this during the engine fire years?

Nope, well after. 1987 was about the time they got everything sorted out, and other than the horrible interior, are actually pretty decent cars. Plenty of power (they easily out accelerate a Miata) and fairly good handling due to the mid engine layout. But by then, there were better or equal cars for less money, and the gas crisis was ancient history.

This was a daydream while surfing CL. I've been looking at Porsche Boxsters, and stumbled across this one. BTW, if you'd like some interesting reading, search IMS bearing failures. I learned a whole lot about Porsche engines, how to a clutch swap and more. BTW, if anyone knows of a good deal on a 2000 to 2004 Boxster S, hit me up.

I just saw one of those infomercial-style ads on my station for Clear TV Digital HD Antenna | Watch Free TV, as though the concept of a rabbit-ear antenna was the most revolutionary thing imaginable.

What is a reasonable asking price for a base 1994 with 104k on it?

Wow. You guys are really slipping.

I leave a wide open question like that, and not one smart-*** reply, no obnoxious put down, not even a snide remark? I expected more from this place.
