I cannot stand using a wired keyboard and mouse. Too many papers getting shuffled all day long that the wires restrict where I can move the keyboard and mouse to.

I love my wired mouse. I have it setup where it's all tied down so its not all over the place but still.

I've always experienced lag with my wireless keyboards, especially when playing precision games like Street Fighter. Maybe I just had a couple of crappy wireless keyboards? Sensor was very nearby.

I love my wired mouse. I'm left handed, and use the mouse on the left side of the keyboard.

I zip tie the cord to the left speaker cord, so the IT guy can't move it. You wanna mess with my computer? Deal with it.

Someone probably snitched, telling the cops he was having too much fun behind the wheel of his Miata.

I agree.
Hopefully he gets what he deserves for driving like an idiot.

Drive like an idiot on a public roadway and you get in trouble if you are lucky. Many times you hit the ******* coming from the other direction who is also over the center lines.

Once you stop being a douche and start taking a car to the track then driving quickly on the street quickly loses its allure.

He was barely hitting 40mph.

he was pulled over because the cop saw him pass another car earlier down the road, that's why he was in another lane in the beginning of the video.

his ridiculously loud exhaust makes the car seem faster than it already was.

obviously he was in full control of the car to be able to stop it without hitting people that jump in front of it.

This.

Once I took my motorcycle to the track, I would barely ride on the street anymore. I'm lucky I'm still here.

Is it strange that getting hired on as a full-time employee at a job where I have been a contractor, is actually more motivation for me to find another job and GTFO of there? All I am getting out of this "promotion" is a $.75/hr raise and now being told to train across multiple areas (with greatly increased risk of liability for product) and I have to train someone for the area I have been working in since July. I'm sorry, but the responsibility of that with no raise is like a big middle finger to my face. The $.75 raise is just for switching from contract to FTE...and once I factor in my medical/401k deductions, I'll actually be putting less money in my pockets...which I desperately need right now.

Hopefully said desperation for money/change/happiness will open my perception to job fields I have not looked into/thought about in the past.

The best time to find a new job is why you are already employed. Good luck on your job search. Do you miss being in Atlanta and sitting on your *** watching pr0n and getting paid?

Keep looking and get your resume together.

I've been getting a lot of calls lately from recruiters, bullshit offers, but still I at least know my skills are in demand.

Likely why we and the wife will end up moving.

Doc Emrick might be the greatest sports commentator I've ever heard. His collection of adjectives never fails to amaze me.

Emrick is great, but if I'm watching baseball, I don't know how you top Vin Scully.
