We just went through the same thing. Unbelievably, there were still a handful of users who were really upset that they had to give up their 4 year old Dell E6400's with XP.

If you buy the Tesla S model P85D, for an extra $13k, you can buy the optional "Ludicrous Speed" upgrade.

I swear I'm not making this **** up:

GM has said that they will never support win8 so everything at work is win7. Haven't heard if they'll support 10 yet though.

Used to be. Dress warm. Been a while so can't recommend anything anymore but good college town especially around the downtown area.

I'll be spending a couple days hanging out at Dynapower. Depending on flights, i may spend an extra day or two since it's so late notice.

If you're renting a car it's worth a drive down RT 7. Scenery across the lake into NY is awesome. It gets dark really early, think an hour earlier than you're used to because it's on the eastern part of the time zone.

Too bad the foliage will be gone by then. But at least the leaf peepers won't be around.

Meanwhile, in Florida it is flower season. And bananas are ready to pick. I took these pics in a buddy's yard.

Except for the things in LA that are covered in mudslides due to the recent storm.

Just bought a pair of really nice condition NB2 seats for $60. Unfortunately they are tan leather (with a couple small tears) but that's okay.

I just heard that ChumpCar is doing a 38 hour enduro race at Palm Beach International on Dec 30-31. I just don't know why someone would want to run that long. After 14 hours at Sebring it was getting a little weird back when I did that. I can't imagine 38 hours.

So what you're saying is that Troy, you, and I should buy a cheap beater car and race it together? We can rotate the driver every 4 hours and run a 2 man mechanically team. No sleep and lots of drugs to keep awake. Sounds like a blast, count me in!

You will need two or three more mechanic types as well to help with tire changes and brakes while the drivers are being exchanged, but yeah. Needs to be done in a bone stock Corolla or Civic with a baby seat in the back.

That sounds like a lot of fun. I may have to offer my services (get coffee, food, toilet paper) for this one. Hell, I'd even help drive if nobody minds me driving with the right turn signal on for a few hours.

The server farm on the 10th floor of the building I work at, between Master Control and the men's room.

I just realized that I'm going to be in FL in late December.

Nowhere near Palm Beach.

I have utterly no desire to drive in a Chump race.

But I'm handy with a wrench and a hammer...
