I can't imagine quitting and not getting the unemployment benefits would be the best option.
So... My boss has made some pretty questionable decisions lately.
He put his formal 2 weeks in Monday, then Tuesday i guess he retracted it.

Can you do that, say you're quitting, then a day later change your mind? He's gotta be on the -------- now.

sh!tlist is blocked? lol

depends. if the place is desperate they will keep em
most places won't. where I'm at, your position would likely be taken before your two weeks are up.

He put in two weeks because his new hire sucked, right?

Maybe the higher ups talked him out of it?

I really have no idea what is going on. This is beyond unusual to me. I would have thought they wouldn't tolerate that kind of stuff.

This. Most likely. His boss convinced him that it's not the end of the world - nor the end of his job.

It's also possible that the timing of the new employee being fired coincidentally lined up with him receiving a job offer from another company, putting in his two weeks notice, and then receiving an even better counter offer from the current employer to stay.

Putting this on today.

Was almost stranded in the parking lot yesterday, taking no chances.

Old starter wouldn't crank, just a clink noise. Not sure if it was being blocked or what. I put the trans into 1st then 2nd. Waited a min and it slowly came back to life. Battery and alt check out fine.

Not sure if the part# is exact, just what I was told by the service advisor. Looks the same.

Mine cost $260 oem new...

I was confused when he told me mitsubishi but meh it works, installed.

Has a high pitch wine, vehicle starts no prob now. SO good, I have to retard the idle timing a few.
