I'm running a 4.1 sensor in my 6 speed with 3.63 gears and with the 15x9 6UL & 225/45 RS3 combo that is on the car now the speedo is more accurate than it was stock with 5 speed, 4.3 & 185 tires.

...this is assuming the Live data output on RaceChrono is accurate with Aidan's magical 10hz bluetooth GPS chip

Hmm. I'm running a 4.1 sensor (AFAIK... stock MSM sensor) in my 6-speed with 3.63 gears with the 15x9 6UL and 225/45 RS3 combo and the speedo is about 4-5 mph off at 70 MPH.

There's something weird about your 4.1 sensor, then. When I had the 3.9 sensor in my car (6-speed, 3.636:1, 225 Rivals on 15x9s), GPS showed it being off by 10%.

It very well could be goofy, I have no explanations. What I DO have is a brand new 3.63 sensor in my parts box but I've had zero motivation to install it. (No, I'm not going to sell it)

So, without getting too specific about my current work situation, I have decided that I need to improve my résumé. I am smart and hard-working (isn't everyone?), but what I discovered 3 or 4 years ago while looking for a new job is that prospective employers often don't have the time or resources to figure out who is smart and hard-working, so they rely on external signals. In my case, I didn't have a lot of experience or degrees/certifications, but I was fortunate to find a good fit.

Now, with 3+ years in a solid IT position, it seemed like I needed to fill in the other side of the equation -- formal education. I'm not going back to school, so I figured I should get some certifications. I didn't want to lock myself into a Cisco or MS path yet, so I did CompTIA A+ as a starting point. I read a book for a month, then watched a video series for the next two weeks, then crushed the two exams.

Network+ is up next. I figure it's a good building block for anything I'd want to do in the future. Maybe Security+, or maybe I'll decide to pick a Cisco, MS, or security-specific path.

Anyway, I'm just rambling in the ramble thread. I passed my A+ this morning and while it's a fairly meager accomplishment, I'm still glad. I might actually make some money one day.

Figure out exactly what you want to do and point your certifications in that direction. A+, Networking+ and Security+ are great general certs that will get you past an HR minion assigned to screen resumes but trust me when I say you want to have a focus. I'm in a job now where I do EVERYFUCKINGTHING and as a result on paper and to future employers my title makes me look like a high level help desk monkey. I desperately wish I had focused on something specific like a Network Engineer or Server Application Management type position. I work for a huge company with a smallish IT footprint so its difficult to get that type of focus that makes me "desirable" to other companies. If I had to do it again I would have gone A+ > N+ > S+ > CCENT > CCNA Routing & Switching > CCNA Wireless and whatever else looked tasty, like maybe CCNA Data Center or CCNA Security and then aimed myself at a Jr/Assistant Network Engineer type of position. In my experience its good to have direct exposure to a lot of different disciplines (shows that you understand things on the whole and how they work together) but having a title like "Network Engineer" on your resume really opens doors. Everyone knows what a Network Engineer is and does so you don't have to explain all the random **** you can do. I hate talking shop with other IT people specifically for this reason.

One of the big things now is to use the "buzz words" found in the job listing in your cover letter/resume to get past the automated resume scrubbers.

Damn, your situation sounds very similar to mine. Meanwhile, driving thru Manhattan very late at night/early morning is awesome. The old NJ miata club had an annual Miata run starting at midnight that was fun, and I've been thru there a few times before dawn back when I had my streetbike and little responsibilities. Very nice when there's few cars but everything is still alive.

Heavy storms knocked everything out yesterday, all power. Had to use keys to get into the building until power came back on.
Still having issues today, our sys admin is tearing his hair out, but also gives no *****.
DNS is down, but I'm able to get to everything since I'm using the IP directly... assisting co-workers now so they can remote into servers.

My android phone started to freak out yesterday, decided to try to fix it today. Also found out my google play store isn't working

I fixed the first issue by attempting to fix my google play store.

I've done this, still doesn't work.

Error on the store is "error retrieving information from server [rh-01]"

I've tried downloading the latest .apk from the xda forum, same issue. halp!
