Considered it but honestly it wouldn't help any part of my situation, as much as I want it...

Deal alert

<br >

If you get the above brushless blower (or string trimmer or hedge trimmer), you can select a free 3ah lithium battery ($99). Blower is $199 and comes with a 5ah batt and charger. You can also get them at home depot and the deal worked there also.

The impact wrench is $229 bare tool less a $20 dewalt instant credit. I am going to use the 3ah batt with it. The impact wrench has 1000 lbft in reverse.

Car update,

Upper control arm is bent, lower is snapped. Brakes looked ok, wheel is fucked. Axel was definitely impacted but doesn't look broken. Leaking fluid from diff, guessing from axel area.. hoping for the best. Nothing else looks bad, the wheel took the hit.

If anything I guess I could always pickup a cheap 17x7 4x100 steel wheel if I can find one. Or possibly get smaller 15", w/e works

Make sure the diff carrier isn't cracked at the engineered breaking point(s)

If you want to **** her, then by all means, have at it. But I agree with those who noted the danger inherent in the myspace cropping of the one photo provided.

Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.

I'm sure all of us have at least 1 that we look back on and say, "Damn, I'm glad no one knows about that one."

And sometimes your wife knows and teases you for it until you're dead.

Will do.

Lower was already snapped. Made the mistake of letting the tow truck driver attempt to pivot it into a car spot at the shop (fatty). Upper snapped and it now sitting on the wheel. Only thing connected is the msm axle to the diff

The axle & diff are the only things I'm really concerned about at this point. Rear subframe looked ok, the racing hart took the majority of the hit.

I doubt I'll be able to get any money for the harts. 6ULs will probably be my choice in the near future after I recover from this unexpected event.

Expecting the worse in case of bent wheel, I found these - http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/fin...rw=7&rc=TXAINT

Site says that they're 4x100 17x7

So, without getting too specific about my current work situation, I have decided that I need to improve my résumé. I am smart and hard-working (isn't everyone?), but what I discovered 3 or 4 years ago while looking for a new job is that prospective employers often don't have the time or resources to figure out who is smart and hard-working, so they rely on external signals. In my case, I didn't have a lot of experience or degrees/certifications, but I was fortunate to find a good fit.

Now, with 3+ years in a solid IT position, it seemed like I needed to fill in the other side of the equation -- formal education. I'm not going back to school, so I figured I should get some certifications. I didn't want to lock myself into a Cisco or MS path yet, so I did CompTIA A+ as a starting point. I read a book for a month, then watched a video series for the next two weeks, then crushed the two exams.

Network+ is up next. I figure it's a good building block for anything I'd want to do in the future. Maybe Security+, or maybe I'll decide to pick a Cisco, MS, or security-specific path.

Anyway, I'm just rambling in the ramble thread. I passed my A+ this morning and while it's a fairly meager accomplishment, I'm still glad. I might actually make some money one day.

Hmm. I submitted an application/resume yesterday just for kicks. Recruiter called me this morning and scheduled an hour long phone interview for Thursday. Wasn't really planning on things moving along this quickly, but it might be an opportunity I can't pass up. We'll see how it goes.

Ask and yee' shall receive... Potato.

Night of...

This morning waiting on the incompetent tow r-tard.

Club roadster has nothing on me...

Lower is snapped.

Upper is hanging on for dear life

Stock suspension

Found the curb...

Tiny amount of diff fluid leaking out

I wish I would of taken photos after the tow driver snapped the upper. Wheel is basically holding up the back end, msm axle still connected.
