Another reason to hate my car. I completely forgot about the electrical issues I was having about a year ago, until today the damn fuse for the gauges, blinkers and whatever else is on that circuit started blowing again. Fortunately after about 15 fuses last time, I bought a circuit breaker fuse and it will kick off and back on by itself after a few seconds. I couldn't track it down last time, and I forgot about it and thought it had fixed itself until today. It cuts at random, no clue as to what triggers it. I also noticed today that what I thought was unbalanced tired was actually probably transmission related. I noticed the vibration goes away when I cruise with neutral throttle (not maintaining speed, but slowing slightly) and comes back with positive throttle application. Never noticed it before today. So maybe my trans is about to grenade. I'm still going to drop thousands into the car with hopes I can fix these issues later, even against my better judgement. Trans isn't a big issue, it's the electrical that is stressing me out, along with whatever else is going to show itself soon. It always seems to happen all at once, when I can afford it least. **** this car! But I still love it somehow.

THANK GOD! I figured out my meter fuse issue, which was actually far too easy. Last summer I had my dash ripped out and wiring harnesses split open looking for something super difficult. I just learned of the O2 sensor being on that circuit, and looked there. Sure enough, my O2 harness is rubbing on the lower part of the header and has melted through the jacket. I unplugged the sensor, and no problem now. At least I have it tracked down, a new sensor shouldn't be much. Seems like I bought a universal Bosch last time and was only like $40. I was expecting the issue to be in lighting harnesses, radio wiring or something more difficult to trace. No idea how I missed this last year when I was looking into it.

I'm thinking about buying a wrecked 2000 NB for $800. Insurance doesn't know about it so the title should be straight. It needs a front bumper and passenger side front fender and a lower control arm. Only shitty thing is the dumbass had no passengers and didn't lock the airbag. I'm posting pictures later, tell me what yall think!
