You press on the right pedal while also pressing on the left pedal half way. Once you slip those ceramics they glaze over for quite a while and won't hold crap. I had a centerforce get glazed (full boost launch in 3rd uphill by a girl in training) and it took a while to come back.

Well, I was happy and sad at the same time. It appears I don't need a clutch but I need a rear main seal. There is oil everywhere. This is weird considering I replaced it just for the hell of it when I changed my throw out bearing. I don't know if I put a nick in it or put it in crooked but it looks like it's leaking. The crank wasn't galled or anything like that. It barely had a witness mark where it was riding.

I don't think it was the input shaft seal, it was much cleaner than the back of my flywheel. I'm going to change them both anyway just to be safe.

The really bad thing is that damn ceramic disc wore one hell of a grove in the friction surface of my flywheel. A the very least it's going to need resurfacing. I'll have to dig up the paperwork or get in touch with Fidanza and find out what my minimum thickness is.

I just might get a less aggressive clutch disc while it's down too. It will be a little more streetable then and not so hard on the flywheel. Thanks for the clutch advice anyways guys. You never know, depending on the prices, it might just be worth changing some stuff out.

Nice.

Should I buy another HD 4890 for some dual crossfire action for $130?

No, they're good enough. My 4850 can run Crysis at 60fps.

At 640x480. Lol.

I've got a 23er at 1920x1080, and sometimes have a twin next to it. There's no way a 4850 can do 60 fps with the graphics maxed out.

It was at 60 at 1024x760-some with max graphics. Around 45-50 at 1440x900 (My max specs). But this was before mine had a second monitor.

I don't have that kind of muneez... C2D @ 3ghz and 4 gigs of ram...

Still, runs games MORE than well enough. I don't need better 'till games get even higher spec'd (Which assassin's creed II has done, I'm gonna have to up my proc to play it well)

I planned this build back during Thanksgiving, finally bought it 2 months ago. It's something that will last me for several years if I upgrade the video card when needed. I upgraded from a single core athlon XP. But I also have a core i7 laptop with a Gtx280m since thanksgiving.

You should get ARMA 2 and watch your computer DIE in front of you. I load the entire game into ram to have a virtual super duper SSD drive in order to play it smoothly, at medium graphics.

Check out my raided HDD's vs. my ramdrive. Lol!

That's the only thing I miss about working construction. Get home after a full 10-12 hour day in the heat and actually sleep. My sleep condition didn't exist then. Heat/sun will drain you for sure.

Certainly not. When I built my current computer with all top of the line parts about 1.5 years ago for Crysis, even my 4870 Toxic Edition overclocked I only see about an average of 25fps at 1920x1200 with maxed graphics
