I'm biased too, I say get an SV650.
I run bitches down all day at the race track...I especially love passing the liter bikes hardparking it in the corners. The full range torque on the SV makes riding and tracking soooo easy. I run the majority of Mid-Ohio in 3rd gear. I upshift to 5th during the back straight, then back down to 3rd entering the next corner...then just have fun. An instructor got away from me at my last track day, and there were 2 or 3 liter bikes that would hang with me for 2 or 3 laps, beyond that - nothing.

If you're going to be a track junkie, get a 600cc sportbike. If not, get the SV. If you just want to be a stereotypical squid, get at Gixxer.

Anyone in the market for a kickass custom Glock 30? I've got an early-gen no-rail G30 with an extreme grip reduction/re-angle and stippling job from Boresight Solutions, 2 mags (with reduced and stippled bases), melonite-coated Heinie Straight-8 sights, a Ghost Rocket transfer bar, a mild trigger polish job, and a smooth-faced Glock trigger. I fell in love with Kawi z750s today at the stealership, 2005 model. Hopefully will be able to pick it up tommorow for 3k.
I am a competent rider and this bike will be used for highway commuting to school 30 minutes away

Not as good as NEMESIS!!!! But, still funny.
Wow, I just looked up the producer of the blower kit on that Exige. The whole thing is very high quality, especially that intake manifold. Check it out..ZING!
