The latest entry in my "Why Florida is Weird" saga:
WTF? Yield AND Stop?
I yopped.
On the plus side, I was expecting to get stuck in some shitty crew cabin below the waterline, but they actually put me in a very nice stateroom on Deck 6. Hooray for free stuff.
The view tonight, looking back at Port Canaveral.

Wish my ***** luck, for in 6 hours I will awake and make my journey to the hospital where a 60 year old man and a team of nurses will violate me in ways no man (maybe a few weird ones) would ever want. I at least hope to return home with a supply of yummy pills.
^and you're on a ******* cruise while I'm having pencil size instruments jammed up my urethra and a Star Wars style laser battle commencing in my kidney!

Good luck with your surgery, even if you're a 'bama fan.

Here is a perfect car for enjoying the streets and highways of our sunshine state. This 1994 Mazda Miata has lived its life hear in Florida, and I am the third owner and have only driven 8k miles in the two years I have owned it. With a brand new burgundy Stayfast three window soft top, a gorgeous custom pearl white paint job, and a unique airbrushed flower, this beauty sparkles in the sun and makes every ride a joy ride. Though the outside is anything but factory, the car has been maintained as stock performance wise. With brand new Falken Ziex 329 tires purchased within the year, you shouldn't need to be buying more for another 70,000 miles. The automatic transmission, air conditioning/heater, and Kenwood stereo work great. This car has perfect balance, tight suspension, and is the most maneuverable car I have ever driven. Any questions please email, and for much nicer pictures please click here: http://titrate2fx.imgur.com/94_custom_miata

Why do the people at Facebook have to keep ******* with everything? I found an old screenshot of my profile on my other pc and it's incredible how much the site's changed. Yes, the changes seem drastic when they make them, but think about how many changes they've made over the years? The site used to be way better.

I love that. A subsidization of the wealthy, that will not pay off economically in terms of increased business activity, and that new subsidy will ultimately generate ticket prices that are beyond the financial reach of the average fan to utilize the "premium seats"
If the wealthy owners of sports teams want new stadiums or renovations, let them build them with their own money. They're not entitled to [y]our money.
Gotta love socialism.
If you disagree with me, then you agree that we [the state] should hire a bunch of vandals [poor] to break windows throughout cities so that the window repairmen who are down-in-out [middle class] of the world can get their "fair share". That way the window repairmen can go and buy new tools, and the new tools people can go buy new suits, and the tailors can go buy better thread. Stimulating the economy!
Never mind that the store owners of the broken windows, instead of paying the window installer, might have expanded his business, or bought a new suit themselves or something else. It is the government's job to take your money and the decide for you what is worth funding, and makes you bear part of the cost of someone else's business risks.

The worst part is that the stadium isnt even in Broward county. Not to mention that the Dolphins such, have sucked and will continue to suck.

Miami Dolphins are owned by Stephen Ross (Net Worth: $3.2 billion), who bought them in 2008
for $1100 mil.
Do you think Stephen Ross cares where he receives his free money from? When you have friends in gov't you get perks. Stealing from the wealthy to give to the RICH.
Socialism.

For me the worst part of the whole thing is the waiting. Not just the waiting to finally get in the OR, but the waiting after as well. ******* waiting with anticipation in a paper gown in a freezing little room. "Perfect. Thanks. I'll just wait right here for an hour."
I'm pretty sure they'll give you plenty of pain pills. Sounds to me like your going to need them.

You're forgetting that the Estephan's the Williams sisters and Marc Anthony & JLo also have part ownership.

you are forgetting that naming rights and luxury boxes, there are more revenue streams than need to pay for the building of new stadiums.
you are forgetting it's about blackmail and the prisoner's dilemma.
you are forgetting teams bring little net economic benefit.
you are forgetting teams take better care of stadiums they actually own; private stadiums are steadily improved. Public stadiums are used up and thrown away and more tax dollars are spent on new ones.
you are forgetting that teams don't care about your tax burden.
you are forgetting that private companies dont NEED public funding in order to work.
you are forgetting govt and socialism is bad.

okay good. but your politician will forget. and so will the poor, when they get used in order to fight to battle for the billionaires. It will get spun that this will benefit the working class and the poor and they'll just fight for it. They'll tell you that the dolphins will leave town if they dont get the funding and that the middle class will get hurt. so the overwhelming majority of people will vote in favor and then the wealthy class who actually pays taxes will be forced to pay the salaries of billionaires.
