Ya, they made a nice death ray and everything, but this kid kicks their *** at building solar powered weapons of fiery death.

Better:

^Thats with 5800 mirrors, he's apparently building one called the "R23K", I'm assuming that means it has 23,000 mirrors ready to bake anything that wont move relatively quickly while in direct sunlight.

Watching videos of the questionable uses of heavy equipment in third world countries can be entertaining.

I'd like to see how it got on the truck to begin with.

I would assume the laser employs the same technologies that allow an M1 tank to shoot at a moving target while moving.

Did you see the revisiting of that myth?

I'm such a stick-in-the-mud when it comes to staying on the front of newer technology. I'm not totally against progress/updating the devices I use, but I don't care to have the newest and bestest stuff. Which brings me to the iPhone I have. Just a 3Gs or whatever the last one before the 4 was. So I put my big-boy pants on and put iTunes on my new laptop since I keep telling myself I need to really start downloading music because my current collection is getting stagnant and I am now using my phone as my portable music listening-to device. Since I don't want to pay for every song/album I want, I still use SoulSeek to download music. This brings me back to 1995 and one of the best albums I've ever listened to. I had the cd and gave it to someone back in like 01 or so.... Local-H's Ham Fisted. What a jewel this is...I forgot how much this album kicks *** of most of the garbage that is out these days.

It's been 10 years since I have put strings on either of my 2 guitars or my bass. I'm a bad instrument parent. But I really don't mess with them much anymore, kinda sad really.

For the record, I always had a secret love for putting distortion on my bass...and chorus too (but not together).

I suppose anything is possible. I have no idea how accurate you can make that kind of system. I mean, with an M830A1 high-explosive shaped-charge munition, it probably doesn't matter if the round intercepts the target off-center by 2 or 3 feet. With a laser beam, it does.

Did you see the revisiting of that myth?
Yes, it failed that time as well. But it was kind of interesting to see POTUS appearing on a network TV show. Has that ever happened before? Clinton wasn't yet in office when he appeared on the Arsenio Hall show.

Why the hell is shipping from Begi so god damned expensive? I always get to the checkout and see the shipping price and just say **** it. They want 20 dollars to ship two coolant hose barb adapters and a couple feet of rubber hose via UPS ground.

That would make sense and be easy, bitching on forums is more fun.
