Citing one case (or a group of cases) in which the law was applied unjustly does not nullify the law.
I could cite cases in which people have been wrongly convicted of murder. That does not mean that the law against murder is unjust / illegal / unconstitutional / etc.
You nailed it in the last sentence. It may be annoying, but it is legal.
Of course, it takes slightly more than a "hunch." To seize property without an arrest, you need a warrant from a judge. Judges, incidentally, are elected officials.

well here, this is a story from today:
http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1000...471223268.html
U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service raid a Gibson Guitar factory: seize wood and guitars.
Dude has documentation showing it was purchased through legimate sources, but he had his propety stolen before conviction. You know who else don't have property rights? the Hiatians...and look how well off they are.
I wasn't suggesting that the abuse should nullify the practice, but we SHOULD repeal it.
..."nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law"
In Syria, they break your hand if you draw negative cartoons about the Gov't....should I start to worry about what I type?

In 2009, more than a dozen agents with automatic weapons invaded the Gibson factory in Nashville. The Government seized guitars and a substantial amount of ebony fingerboard blanks from Madagascar. To date, 1 year and 9 months later, criminal charges have NOT been filed, yet the Government still holds Gibson’s property. Gibson has obtained sworn statements and documents from the Madagascar government and these materials, which have been filed in federal court, show that the wood seized in 2009 was legally exported under Madagascar law and that no law has been violated. Gibson is attempting to have its property returned in a civil proceeding that is pending in federal court.
The Justice Department has asked the judge to stop the court case indefinitely.

Why does the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service need automatic weapons to raid a law abiding business?
also I love how that's the only rebuttle you can whip up. So becuase the author chose to include this fact you disregard and belittle the seriousness of the story because you find that fact outlandish?
I laugh at the whips slave owners used too...

It's not a rebuttal, I just think it's funny when media reports say "automatic weapons" , They don't actually know if the weapons where automatic or not, I just laughed at how they throw it in for dramatic effect. They also call assault rifles by either AK-47 or M16.
p.s. Do you laugh at hustlers whip during rough S&M "play"?

All I keep thinking is that dude must have been a shitty slave. You got to be a dumb ************ to keep doing stuff that gets you beat like that without learning better. They used to say a good nigra wouldn't hardly have a mark on him.

"You can't handle the truth!"-Jack Nicholson
Obviously a disapproving look or a slap on the wrist wasn't enough for him. As stated, evidence of that kind of beating drove down their resale value so was administered sparingly. I wonder what he did?

lol so I was at the pool today at this apartment complex by campus, and this wierd ****** came in with with a gun in his drawers. White guy, dirty stauche, wearing khaki pants IN TO the pool, with his gun pointed to his dick. I didn't think it was a gun because I mean who the **** brings their gun in to the pool, not to mention he was wearing pants in the pool. The chicks we were with went into the office and got the police out there. He had no permit, and he had an extra loaded clip, and the gun was loaded. And I'm pretty sure he was on drugs.
