Does anybody here use http://www.wolframalpha.com on a regular basis?
I find it to be a fascinating piece of software. Not quite a search engine per se, more like an answer engine. The forerunner of the Ship's Computer on Star Trek, where you just ask it a question and it tells you the answer.
I've found its accuracy and relevance to both be pretty decent. It didn't know how many Miatas were built in 1990, but every other question I asked it produced a useful (and correct) answer. Example:

Tearing out the old bathroom tile. Grout was crappy, and let water in, which ruined the wall behind. Pain in the a$$ job. I got out the small sledge, and let my 8 year old son go at it. He yelled "Thor!", and bashed away while I drank a beer. Win-win.

Goddamn it car... Drive to the gym from work, no problem. Come back out to leave and the charge light is on and my lights are dim the whole way home. I'm assuming alternator. Good thing I was thinking about upgrading to a new FD alt anyway, just not right now. I have other things I could spend that $ on. This ------- car and its constant little issues. Then again, with my luck I will chase around a wiring fault.
