Just another 'ambulance chaser' law firm. The city insurance will settle for a pittance and the lawyer will get 40-60% of whatever.

Send the check to Qatar please...

First: This suggests that Ahmed Mohamed incurred net damages as a result of police action.

Second: The reality is that Ahmed Mohamed incurred a windfall economic surplus from the result of police action, therefore, I believe that the city is entitled to a significant portion of the economic surplus generated solely by their actions.

Third: Ahmed Mohamed is irrelevant, except for the fact that he has now desensitized an entire nation as to how to react when a kid brings a suitcase bomb to school.

I just took a can compressed air duster, inverted it and blasted the thermostat in my office. Sweet, sweet heat, how I love thee.

My house is heated by electric wall heaters. We set them to 40 so the pipes don't burst and wear sweatshirts.

I **** you not, last night I put some ice water on my bedside table, and there was still ice in it 7 hours later. Hailey's hang around the house clothes involve 2 pair of sweats and 2 sweatshirts.

We have a pretty big stash of Ramen too.

I'm sorry, I don't get it. How do I make it go?

The arrow keys or WASandD. You can use up/W repeatedly to fly up. Probably doesn't work on a phone.

I have no idea why I'm in the office today.

One of the helpdesk guys is here, but literally no one else in my department is in the building. Even our VP didn't bother to show up. On the majority of my projects I can't really do any in depth work without the rest of the team so I'm pretty much stuck doing documentation. Or drinking. Maybe both. I can't even joyride a forklift because they hauled them all down to Arizona. :(

Note to self, cold tires are not your friend.

Any current or ex 17" racing hart rim owners? What tire do you use for your boat anchors?

First I'd heard of Star Citizen, but from a brief reading, it sound a bit like a modern version of TradeWars 2002?

I got sucked in to Banished over the weekend. I have no idea why but these types of games grip me like a drug. Though I didn't look at the clock, I'm pretty sure I didn't get to bed until very early this morning.

Started playing TF2 again after a 3 year break, on friday. Within the first 5 minutes I remembered how much I loved and miss that game, and why I stopped playing.

My regular server closed down a few months ago. Been looking for a new home...

Anyone have any suggestions?
