^ All of this sucks.

(Aside from the free socialized healthcare thing.)

I wanted to embed a metal cover of Radiohead's Creep here, but there don't appear to be any good ones.

Can there be a Rule 34 variant for covers of popular songs?

Pretty cool. Campbell must be excited!!!
Campbell is just shy of 3 and a half. He is totally cool with having a brother. He doesn't give a **** how much we sleep.

Evidence: he woke up this morning just before 6 and puked on his bed. That means home from school and hyperactive and unrested all morning. Of course he was fine by school time and quit barfing quickly.

Followup:

The search function in YouTube needs to have a slider bar, which ranges from "no talent ***-clown who recorded this video with a potato in a bathroom stall at their jr. high school" to "competant musician."

Followup II:

I have rediscovered my adoration for Alice in Chains, again.

So many good memories from my high school years. Play it LOUD! God, we were such nihilist *********...

EDIT: I wonder how many of today's youth actually get the "tube" pun in that name? Now that I think about it, it's actually a double-entendre.[/i]

I never thought about it but you are correct. That's very clever of you.

Now off to Alice in Chains wonderland...

Just the powerball number actually.

Anybody here know how to keep facebook out of my business email account contact list? It's an account that uses microsoft exchange. At least that's where I think FB got the info.

And I NEVER allowed FB access to my email contacts when I first signed up to help me "find friends".

I've got business owners from large companies popping up in my suggested friends list. Stupid ******* facebook. This is why I don't use the damn thing but once a month and then only under duress.

In a final attempt to upgrade my computer so that I can squeeze every byte of performance without spending a lot more money
I maxed out my board's cpu and scored a AMD Phenom ii x6 1065t on amazon

CPU-World: AMD Athlon II X4 620 vs Phenom II X6 1065T | PassMark: AMD Phenom II X6 1065T vs AMD Athlon II X4 620

Compared to my old Athlon ii x4 620, this should be a noticeable difference

I'm reminded of the days of weird upgrade paths, like swapping an Am5x86 into a 486-DX motherboard, or using mezzanine boards to adapt things like 68020s into machines built for the 68000.

Go into; Facebook>Settings>Apps

Look for an app called Contacts+ and disable it. Usually, the issue isn't Facebook per se but these addon apps that people don't pay attention to when asked and just click though the request.

I look for anything that wants access to my contacts and disable it.

Hope that helps you out.

And that's why I don't trust or use facebook. It's similar to the crap that apple products have. We got an ipad for christmas, and while sitting on the couch, the thing started pinging notifications of my wife's emails and phone calls and text messages. There's at least 5 settings to shut all the **** off. It's ridiculous.

I dropped facebook when things I deleted in 2005 started reappearing in my activity history. I've been back a few times for about a week at a time. Most recently, I realized that 80% of the content is unoriginal, such as people sharing stories from The Onion, and I closed my account again.

I didn't find contacts+ and there were only 4 apps there, like Yelp and something called Socialcam, neither of which I recall using. I deleted all of them and locked down the rest of the settings in that section. Then I went to the Ads section right below Apps and cleared a few of the settings there which were a result of data mining and cookie watching (why does it think I'm into Lego toys?).

This is a new low for humanity.
Spends all her money on lottery tickets, loses (of course), starts a gofundme campaign to get her money back, and pledges to do the same thing again.

Today is my last day of work. I am doing my best to do nothing, getting a free lunch and then I'm going to leave early to take some stuff to the scrap yard.

Then packing and cleaning all weekend.

Have an interview on Tuesday for a full-time position.

Would be fantastic if I could get out my current contract position.
