no I dont have pics of the miata that are bigger than 100x100 pixels, but I know the guy through my dad and he is an old dude, so I believe him when he says it was well taken care of. From what I can see on my phone is no major body damage. He did say one of the soft top latches stick, and the antenna motor is broken. It has a lame luggage rack on the back, but thats coming off. He is not getting the money until it gets to his new house here in reno, but when it does ill take pics.

On the other hand, I was looking on ebay for turbo crap, and this made me lol

EDIT: Backstory: His giganto-intercooler was stolen, so instead of buying a new one or taking countless offers for a free stocker, he fabbed his own out of PVC pipe.

I'm more impressed with the fact that the video didn't have incredibly gay music dubbed over it than anything else.

It doesn't even look like that is his fault... looks like the car pulled out in front of him. Judging by the cars he was only going about 5-10 mph over the speed limit at the time anyways.

how did both of them not notice the car??

I saw more FAIL than the above posted stuff yesterday.

I won't post too much detail because I really shouldn't, BUT...I was somewhere yesterday and there was a Miata being looked over. Someone asked me for my opinion on why there would be so much rust in the coolant. I walk over to the car to have a look and about fall over laughing.

It's turbo. Kinda cool. Everything looks like a hack job...no cool. Well, I clance at the turbo and see someone put a gasket between the turbo and the manifold. Not bad..I sure as hell wouldn't do it. But then I notice that there is no wastegate on the turbo...just the flapper arm hanging out. No EWG either. Ummm OK. I look down a bit further AND JEZUSTFUCKINGCHRYSLER I see The King of All that is Stupid. It seems this diphole though "well, I'm not running boost...so I DON'T NEED TO RUN THE OIL FEED LINE TO THE TURBO EITHER! Yup...no oil being fed to the turbo...on a running/driving car. But hey, the water lines were hooked up! Also, one of the three bolts holding the outlet ppipe to the compressor outlet was missing/stripped, there was rust-water residue everywhere under the hood, the owner managed to have a leaking freeze plug (how the hell does that happen?) and exhaust leeks all over the place.
