First off, you'll need to pull it out of the lake....

I'm assuming the battery isn't dead. Is the car making any sounds when you try to start it?

The engine turns fine. I was driving it a few days ago. Then the fuel gauge went dead despite having fuel in the tank, and now the car does not start. So I assume fuel is the problem. I already had bought a pump so I replaced that today hoping it will then start, but nothing.

The fuel pump and level are two different things.

Did you even check to see if there was fuel pressure? Probably the easiest thing to check ever.

Check fuses?? Does the pump kick on with Key on engine off?

Well I thought they would be related. I didn't check for pressure, but I had to install the pump anyway so I just went ahead and did that. Fuses seem ok. Pump hisses when the key is turned on.

What he's saying is that the fuel gauge relies upon input from a potentiometer connected to a lever connected to a float, and assuming that the fuel tank is not actually empty (eg: the pump inlet is still submerged) this whole system can fail completely without affecting the fuel pressure in any way.

Okay, from there I cannot think of anything else but the fuel pump relay. I actually drove the car with the engine fuse being blown, back when it was working. This issue started after I replaced the fuse...

Any anime watchers here? Anybody seen Angel Beats? I'm not at all ashamed to say I cried like a little baby at the end, and several other times throughout the short 13 episode span. I've never seen an anime like this. Such a beautiful, happy, yet terribly sad story.

Did you replace it with the correct size fuse?

I watched it from start to finish in one sitting. Even skipped class for it. Don't be ashamed, I know a few people (including myself) who totally lost it at the end.

We used to have a pretty good anime thread on here. Speaking of which, I'll probably bump it soon if someone else doesn't. Lots of great new things are coming our way, including new Trigun!

Hell yeah! I thought I recalled an anime thread, but didn't find it in a short search. I used to watch a lot, but quit for a while, and have started back again recently. Watched 3 whole series in the last 2 months or so. I used to think anime was gay before I started watching it, but I got turned onto one and once I started watching, I was caught. I guess this was about 5 years ago, so I'm kind of new to anime I guess. I've still managed to watch all of "the greats", and probably 20 series total in that time.

But yeah, Angel Beats is by far the most emotion evoking thing I have ever watched. The little surprise at the ending completely sent me over the edge, I lost my ****!

which means the MS isn't reading the CAS correctly, or it's staying in flood clear mode.

Okay, what could have gone wrong then since it stopped working literally overnight? What is flood clear mode?
