the girlfriend bought a 2011 kia forte SX, 2.4L (same motor as the genesis and SRT-4) with the 6-speed manual. the car rocks for the price. driven it to Baltimore and back @ 36mpg and takes the turnpike to 595 interchange at 70-80 with no issues.

Went on a 150 mile trip today as part of my engine break-in and got 21 mpg. Is that bad?

Just had to call the police and have an officer sent to our house.

Its nice to find out that the little bastards on the dirt bikes and quads technically are allowed to rip *** through here all hours of the day/night.

Thats ok. I know where they keep them.

I'm pretty pissed off at U-haul right now. Paid almost 200 bucks for the RV wiring on my Jeep, because I've been pressed for time, and I hate wiring. Just plugged the trailer in, and it's not even close to right.

----, I don't miss this college class signing up bullshit hassle. Nothing is anything like clearly instructed, and no one can give you a good concrete answer on anything. I'm stumbling my way through admissions and financial aid processing as usual. Maybe I will be good to go for fall semester. I'm ready to be done with school, once and for all. Maybe only another 3 or 4 years, depending on what I decide down the road.

It's just sad, because I actually quoted his "PLEASE DIRECT ME TO THE SECTION FOR ADULTS WHERE INFORMATIVE AND PRODUCTIVE DISCUSSIONS ARE HELD."

comment and then just said "see post #11" which was his first comment.

but alas. all my hard work flushed.

Fukken this. I had been following an earlier class's course requirement sheet and it didn't list this pre-professional exit course as a requirement so I never took it.

Fast forward to when I apply to graduation and I'm short the class. Took just a couple meetings to take care of it but it was a massive PITA.

Why are people so stupid when it comes to cars? How can one be so quick to offer an opinion on a subject they literally know nothing about.

Example: some guy at the bar last night was telling everyone about his 900 whp Miata. I had to ask. He's telling me how it's a stock Mazda 6 cylinder with a turbo, supercharger and "nos". I just shook my head and walked away.

Bro, if you're on this forum, then ---- you.

Irony:

When running the latest build of Google Chrome under Win7-64, Chrome refuses to allow you to access Gmail, claiming a security certificate error.

Works fine under Firefox and IE.

Pretty happy with U-haul right now. Defective unit was replaced, additional in-line fuse was added, and they threw in a trailer connector. Everything is working, and tech was very contrite for the screwup, which was not really their fault.

I do not have this problem. I use gmail every day all day on a 7-64 system.

edit: just checked the latest version of Canary and it's fine there too. However I have a DIFFERENT problem:

The creek down my street is a couple feet from coming over its extended banks and turning my street into a river.
