It makes me sad that you do not have customers call you Vashthestampede.

Default The principle of the thing:

Braineack finds an ipod on Craigslist for $90 today:

Braineack 10:41 AM (7 hours ago)
to drummerguy247
Do you still have your ipod classic for sale? I could meet up and purchase pretty much anytime/day.
drummerguy247 10:49 AM (7 hours ago)
to me
hey brain,
yeah its available, I'm located in Reston where are you?
Braineack 10:50 AM (7 hours ago)
to drummerguy247
In chantilly and work in vienna.
drummerguy247 11:09 AM (6 hours ago)
to me
alright I just checked and this ipod retails $250 new, $180 used

so the final price I would sell it would be $100 flat. is that fine with you?

I can meet you at the Starbucks in Oakton Shopping Center in 1 hr or so if your free (off chain bridge road)
Braineack 11:10 AM (6 hours ago)
to drummerguy247
No. Sorry thanks anyways.
drummerguy247 11:22 AM (6 hours ago)
to me
ok good luck
Braineack 11:25 AM (6 hours ago)
to drummerguy247
Good luck changing prices on a whim.
drummerguy247 11:50 AM (6 hours ago)
to me
yeah $10 is a deal breaker buddy
Braineack 11:51 AM (6 hours ago)
to drummerguy247
Im trying to buy an ipod, not play games. Good luck bro.

Take $20 for it? Amazon has it for $28.88 with free shipping. I'm located in Ridgeland.

Thanks,
Mark

Goddamn. I was trying to squeak by until pay day, but now thanks to shitty web store programming I am in the negative. Glitchy information fields made me think I was trying to charge an old account, and I canceled the charge twice. The third time seemed to work, but today I see the one purchase I wanted, plus two duplicates, and two $28 overwithdraw fees. So my $64 purchase became around $250. ****! They better fix this ****.

You don't use a credit card for online purchases? Tisk tisk. There are not some of the important legal protections on debit cards that there are on credit cards. It is less wise to use them because of the increased risks. Not to mention overdraft charge possibilities.

Both of my current cards are close to their limits, so I try to resist the want to use them. I "knew" I had money in my account, which I did. They just took three times what I expected. Live and learn I guess.

2 credit cards close to their limits, and $180 overdrew your checking account? Slow down.

Just came back from a 10 day road trip..

We (My wife and I) left Turkey, drove into Thessaloniki, Greece, and up north to Skopje, FYROM, continued to Pristhina, Kosovo and Tiran, Albania, before returning to Ohrid and crossing the border into Greece once again, to drive all the way down to Athens.

Reverant (and his wife) were very gracious and generous with their time and their hospitality, and took us to "non-touristy" places and gave us great advice on what to do in the three days we spent in Athens.

The whole trip was a blast.

I drove for about 4000 kilometers with a freshly built and nicely broken in engine, and that was a true test for all the work I put in the car.

I pretty much supercharged my way through the Balkans...
And hooray for 100 octane!
