How (and why) to Ramble on your goat sideways
Everytime there's a new member on my local wine/cheese miata forum and they rave how awesome a bone-stock 1.6 miata is and the've got the 'miata virus' I have fight the urge to reply 'you mean AIDS?'
I'm a somewhat cynical person.

so this just happened a few doors down from me:
Two adults found dead in Chantilly home - The Washington Post
Two adults found dead in Chantilly home - The Washington Post
and does the term "my crank is longer than yours HUEHUEHUE" work for 1.6?
never had a 1.6.
1.8 ftw.

I give up.
Yesterday my bike's rear tire went flat. I checked to see and it was a thorn. So I looked and felt around for more and it seemed good. I put a new tube on and as soon as I go to fill it up, goes flat.
Further inspection shows that my front and back tire is filled with thorns. I made the mistake of removing a few from the front thinking they might puncture the tire later, and of course as soon as I remove the front goes flat. So now both front and rear are flat.
I get my old tires and tubes that were still pretty good when I upgraded to my "flat resistant" expensive tires/tubes. Throw them. Both flat by the time I get to class.
Said **** it and road on 2 flat tires home.
I'm moving a 29er mountain bike. **** this road bike bs. After falling last week because of the skinny ******* tires dipping into a crack I didn't see, I'm done.
Oh and I was running late for class because I had to swap 3238432 tires and tubes, and of course there was a train. I've never seen a train on these tracks before. And it took 10 minutes. And the class I was going to there was a final, which I wanted to stop and get some coffee and have some time to gather my thoughts before the test. Instead I was pissed, hungry and pissed. So I got frustrated at the test and couldn't think clear.
**** today. Seriously. Called in to work because I need to fix my bike for tomorrow. Sigh. I can't type either. It's a mess.

Are you talking about after I rode it home with two flat tires? Looks to be fine. The flats are definitely all from these shitty thorn trees that drop what I assume is some sort of evil thorn seed that is supposed to get stuck to **** (like bike tires and animals).
sounds like you might need to invest in kevlar tires... might save the cost of tubes... might.
Just got home from MEPS. Took the ASVAB yesterday and got a 93. Line scores all over 130 except my GT which was 125, if I remember correctly. Failed the color test and now need a consult for something stupid. Sucks to get sidelined by something so incredibly stupid, but that's life. Now I need to take time to decide either taking a combat job with the Army or possibly shopping around other branches to see what they do for people with my horribly debilitating disability.
I'm pretty upset, but trying to keep my head up.
