Scammed out of $580 last night
I got fake bonnaroo tickets last night. They looked quite legit. I guess I should have paid closer attention. I've got the guys cell number, and pretty sure I have his flight number that he arrived on last night into BNA.
What do you think the chances are that the police would actually look into this with the information that I have? I'm sure I won't see the money again. Sucks, looks like my bonnaroo trip isn't going to happen.

Sorry to hear that you got scammed. Cops won't do ****. Do you have his name? Start googling him and then put up CL adds in his area for him looking for gay sex and selling lawn gnomes. He will be fucked with for a while.
Also are bonaroo tickets sold out? I was thinking about going, but getting my new engine built took my ticket money.

more details of the sale and how you found this guy and how you know they are fakez
I was trying to buy tickets to see Conan O Brien on the 8th, but I'm too scared to get them through someone on CL.

Found him on craigslist. He was asking $800 for the three tickets, I said I'd pay $600 and he said ok. I drove up to NAshville to pick them up. Bad weather that evening,a nd his flight in Charlotte was canceled. We rescheduled for the following evening when the same flight arrived. He got in the car, and was very polite. He was very comfortable, not edgy at all. I looked at the tickets. They were the right color, right graphics, and had a hologramon the Bonnaroo letters. It was in the details of the ticket that I overlooked. There were supposed to be small areas of hologram on the picture printed on the body of the ticket. We got online in the car and compared our ticket to legit tickets and realized we were scammed. This ticket had the bar code, and even the perferation for tearing off the ticket stub. Make sure you have a picture of a legit ticket and study it. oh, and the main hologram turned out to be wrong. It was a generic hologram. It was very difficult to find a pictuer of the image in the hologram.

Damn, that sucks. I hope something works out for you.
Meg and I saw conan lasts weekend. The row in front of us was full, then anther few people were escorted to those seats. Turned out both groups got the same tickets on stubhub of all places. I don't know what happened to the second group but the first stayed there. Odd thing is they scan the tickets when you enter and each ticket has it's own barcode...I thought that hole point was to make sure there aren't duplicate tickets.

Requesting Help:
Would any of you be willing to check your local craigslist for bonnaroo tickets. I'm willing to pay $125 per ticket and shipping. I need two tickets. We picked up one today Maybe all is not lost. If you see one close, and you wouldn't mind setting up the deal, I'll paypal you the money for the ticket and shipping.
real vs fake
Note the real one on top has holograms on the characters clothing

The best thing to do would be to list free **** on craigslist and put his # down for contact.
It would seem with the flights that he's flying from area to area, ripping people off in each city. If he were doing something like this, I highly doubt he'd be using a contracted cell phone when a prepaid, unlinked cell phone can be had for a mere $40.
