Yes, the new post button is asking for a migraine over there.

I recently figured out the magic way to get "new posts" for only the forums you want and none of the sigh-worthy ones. check the post over in the help section:

http://forum.miata.net/vb/showpost.p...0&postcount=11

I just put a link on my toolbar for the filtered new posts search. keeps me far far away from the bulk of ridiculousness.

Miata.net has helped me out a lot actually. It helped me out today when I wanted to find a switched hot wire in the cabin other than the lighter (window switch).

Back in ye olde days in 2006 the turbo forum over there was pretty hopping compared to this place and if anyone searches there they will find my already-answered noob questions posts miata.net style. Actually, I think I have a 400WHP goal help me out plez thread there somewhere.

The V8 forum there also has a few decent build threads and info discounting the tards is good to browse through when I want to feel humbled by some of the mad fabrication skills (See silicon boy's thread).

Annnd the NA and NB forums also have some good information there if you search.

You don't have to read every dumb thread there. Plussss the more "enthusiasts" the better.

The Engine Conversion forum over there, especially the V8 crowd rocks. I learned real quick how serious they, and am glad my "I want a rotary" thread was over there and not here.

I don't know my history, but I honestly don't see the V8 guys migrating to our sister forum the way the turbo discussion came over here. Seems like a different crowd. Although builds like Stein's, with his DIY attitude and more mature manner may appeal more to them.

Only matters to me as I've always felt the Miata had half as many cylinders as it deserved.

I haven't been on m.net for at least 2 years, and I created an account on cr.net a long long time ago, and made one post. This is just a happier place.

I do like the V8 section there. Very knowledgeable people and willing to do anything to help. If I need a photo of how something was done, especially if I'm trying to figure out how to DIY it, one of the kit guys will snap pics immediately. Also, there are some very detailed build threads, not just there but on their own websites. Some are super ---- about pics and have hundreds of photos documenting their builds.

For example, I needed to mod my pan for clearance. Two photos and one dimension later, I had everything that I needed to do it, without having to pay Martin a couple hundred to do it for me.

Same thing recently with my clutch master cylinder and how to mount the slave. I didn't know what the kit guys were using. Got a detailed parts list and photos of the kit-supplied manufactured components and made them.

Late to the party here.

Infraction'd for having "I hate this forum" in your sig???? HAHAHA!!! Wow! The insecurity drips from that forum sometimes.

I rarely participate in that forum at all anymore. It becomes more worthless by the day.

Thanks, you just made my visits to m.net bearable. The Political and WaterCooler threads make my eyes bleed. And I only read the titles!

I had Gary ban me from those sections. Otherwise I'd be banned by my posts in response.

Why all the hate with posting m.net lol's in the bs section? Can we have one thread to keep all or lol's in one place and get lol updates?

The official M.net lol thread

Good to see this forum is still loaded with idiots.
Thank you for understanding.
MX-5 Miata Forum

THEN BAN ME ------ (remember that?)

We have been over this ****, but since you appear to have a small, simplistic mind, I will try to spell it out. This forum is a piece of ****. The users are are ******* idiots.
If they say stupid **** I am not going to just sit by and let them spread misinformation, I am going to correct them.
In case you didn't know, this is all youre fault. You facilitated the formation of these fucktards into one place and have not policed their stupidity. You allow these fools to vomit garbage into the internet where it infects the uninformed people that come here looking for reliable information.
You are a disgusting piece of **** excuse of a human being and I hope you are raped by a variety of AIDS infected farm animals with freakishly large, turgid erections.

Your number one fan,

Mnet is terrible. Its confusing to use and about as aesthetically appealing as a chick's hairy armpits.

I tend to forget it exists. Requested new password, last login in January.

Planning on selling my Vortech supercharger over there.
