Yes, the best answer to anything is this:

Setting - Cars and Coffee

Stance Guy: "I think I knew that you’d come here some day and I think I wanted to be here when you came. I’ve kept inventing excuses for myself to hang about this place."

"You shouldn’t mind speaking to me. You see, I understand your work. What I do about it is another matter."

You: "You are free to do what you wish about it."

Stance Guy: "Then you won’t mind talking to me."

You: "About what?"

he points to his stance car and asks:

Stance Guy: "What does it look like to you? Like a senseless mess? Like a chance collection of driftwood? Like an imbecile chaos? Do you see no method? You who know the language of structure and the meaning of form. Do you see no purpose here?"

You: "I see none in discussing it."

Stance Guy: "Mr. Car Guy, we’re alone here. Why don’t you tell me what you think of me? In any words you wish. No one will hear us."

You: "But I don’t think of you."

Stance Guy's face had an expression of attentiveness, of listening quietly to
something as simple as fate. He remained silent, and Mr. Car Guy asked:

"What did you want to say to me?"

Stance Guy looked at him, and then at the bare trees around them, at the river far
below, at the great rise of the sky beyond the river.

"Nothing," said Mr. Car Guy.

He walked away, his steps creaking on the gravel in the silence, sharp and even,
like the cracks of an engine’s pistons.

Mr. Car Guy stood alone in the empty driveway, looking at the car.

The Fountainhead; and one of the more important points of the story at that. If I was an English teacher, I'd have my students analyize the encounter to fully understand and appreciate why Howard Roarak was a complete bad ***.

And I'd hope that my students, being taught by God, would give me responses such as:

Consider this though: Roark did care what Cameron thought about architecture, else he would've never sought him out. He also cared what Dominique thought of him, in the book he says, "I wouldn't care for you if you didn't want to destroy me."

It's not that Roark is completly indifferent to everyone's opinion, only he's selective about which opinions are worth considering.

Also, this is Romantic literature: it's about what man can and ought to be, not what he is on average.

You're cold. A hot, searing knife into the innocent heart of an imbecile crying for attention.

The scrape thing... I occasionally scrape speed bumps or rapid changes of incline, like coming out of an underground parking deck from the ramp to the flat road. This makes me sit so low in my seat that no one can tell anyone is driving. "Please, no one hear this scrape, you might mistake me for someone who actually wants his car this low." I've been intending to make some spacers to go on the shock mounts to raise it back up a hair, until I get proper suspension. The "frame rail" braces don't help with clearance either. I actually tinged my RB exhaust tip on something the other day and I nearly lost my ****. It was flawless up until then. "Ting!" NOOOO!!!
