Default I knew I'd only last at 12psi for so long...

I got my car dialed in pretty good at 12-13psi and it just wasn't enough. I threw back in my other WG spring to bring it up to 18-19psi and god it feels good! I think everyone should turn up the wick next time they go out for a drive

My motors not built... I know I'm playing with fire but I think I got my tune pretty good and I don't run the car ragged so I'm thinkin I should be okay. I mean the worst case senario is I pop my motor and I can't drive the car for a while. I think smiling every time I lay into the throttle is worth the risk

omg I thought yours was, in that case beware lolol I want to feel 15 soon but am very sketchy on it as I have no idea what I put down at 13 psi....... My tune is rich-ish so I know I'm not leaning it out (as far as i can tell) I've been meaning to sit down for one day and just tune for a while now!!!

No skills, just *****

I have no idea what I'm putting down for power but if I had to guess it'd be like 250-260whp. When I was at 12 I think I was probably like 215-220....these are just wild *** guesses though. Theres still power to be had on my spark table if I had a built motor and/or WI, but it'd be just plain stupid for me to try and pull any more timing as it sits now...

how long you think 18 psi of big turbo boost would last on a stock 01 bottom end?

Do it, and take video. My guess is approximately 5.3 seconds.

I need a turbo!

Yup.

I was around 240 - 250whp with my Greddy on the 1.6, that setup was a blast and would be breaking traction through 3rd gear.

I would think....But then again theres so many damn factors you never know....I say go out and turn it up for a few pulls and see how fast you get addicted

I'm actually really happy I turned it back up today....while I was out I ran into an evoIX and had some fun. The guy was runnin 20psi on a built motor, WI, huge front mount, tubular ss manifold, custom IM, etc (supposidly 450hp according to him)....and on straights he wasn't pullin much on me. On the back roads it was pretty much a dead heat. His tune definitly needed work as he was running way rich, judging by the black smoke coming out his exhaust, but I would have been toasted if I was at 12 psi....He said he was going to be turning it up to 30+psi, so I guess next time I see him I'ma get smoked.

I ended up getting a ride in his brothers Turbo'd LS2 350z running 7#'s...****** nutty

oh jeez. be careful.

I have been having fun lately too now that my car is back on the road. I need to do some serious tuning + install my water/meth.

My friend actually stayed somewhat close to me in his modded Legacy GT... it was depressing. 206rwhp aint enough.

I'd really like to get a spare motor and start building it now...this way I can plop it in when this one goes.
