I'm back and I'm hitched.
I was out doing a bit of this:
(yes, that's 3 different metals twisted together in my ring)
And then I did some of this:
And we hung out in front of these:
Saw this
AND this!!
And a little Provence
And some old aqueduct...
Some old castle fortress...
And whatever this is parked on the street in Avignon...
And the barcelona stuff will have to wait because it's still uploading.
Fun trip... we basically left with only places to sleep and a car booked ahead of time. No maps, almost no guidebooks, and a hint of the languages. We did pretty good. Ate at some bistros cheffed by Michelin star chefs and the food was amazing. Would do again.

Congratulations! There were so many weddings this year, I'm going to one this coming weekend and I hope that's it. I had mine, and there was at least 6 others...must be the cool thing to do!

Yup. That was Riomaggiore (the southern most town).
Nice place but definitely getting a lot touristy. Especially Monterosso. Gorgeous area though. The trails between the towns are awesome. We did the hardest one from Monterosso to Vernazzo one evening and got to Vernazzo just in time to see the sun set over it. Fantastic.
Still, we did shell out 15 euro to rent a pair of lounges and umbrella for the day at the beach in Monterosso. The bar at that place would make bank if they had a waiter to the lounges on the sand.
