Well I finally got around to installing my BEGi S kit on Thursday. Started in the evening and finished up around midnight. Took it for a test drive and then this happened.

Yes it's the original motor.
Intercooled it Sunday with the FMIC I picked up from Brain and a cheap eBay pipe kit. Did the EBC today. Have boost set to 10psi max. Makes 10psi by 3000 and holds it flat out to redline. Car feels great. Very happy with the purchase. It's nothing like my other car but that isn't what I was going for.

Do a compression test today, and then come back in a month and revisit. I'd actually like week-by-week datapoints to see exactly how long an old motor is good for.
My current motor had 258k when I bought it 3 5months ago... put about 2k on it since then. It had 208/208/215/210... I'll check it again when I get home and report back.

did a compression check a few months ago and was 205 across all 4. will do another once i get over to OlderGuy's place to use the same gauge.
it feels like 180-200 to me. I run the MSPNP with 460s on this car so I got everything I need to make 200+ safely
Talked to Corky and he is sending me a new one. I am having TurboTim build me a 2.5" bellmouthed stainless DP though eventually. The banging is not too annoying but I'm more worried about the wear on the flexpipe.
