Just wanted to let everyone know, I will be headed out next week as a nasty civilian contractor

More money to fund my build, which is about to get a whole not better now...

Tubular Control Arms/Subframe
Quaife Trans
949 Twin Disk

Keep your stock subframe for me! I want a backup in case my first round with mine goes bad

Stay safe man. I'm starting a new job on the 23rd... wee bit more normal though.

AWR has them last I checked, if not then I will just get a 6 speed. I think they discontinued the trans actually.

I'm sure you know the deal with being over here (I remember you posting about being a Marine), but I have to say.. don't get a sense of false security because you're a contractor. We lost two last week. :(

Sorry to hear for your loss brother, no I have no sense of false security I know how things are, I have quite a few friends down-range. I have good faith in my training and my gear...as well as MRAPS. I will keep in touch, maybe we'll run into eachother.

I was a contractor in Iraq as well, and we lost a few contractors leaving the ECP they where Brits but it was pretty sad to hear, they where a bunch of good guys we'd always sit with at the DFAC.

I did work for Triple Canopy, however, I am no longer with them on this contract...I don't wish to disclose the name of the company I am working for but either way I will still have the internet.
