I've heard anecdotally that a cat is capable of passing through any opening large enough to fit its skull through, but this is the first time I can recall seeing a practical illustration of this phenomenon.

Proof at last!
Related: I think I may be part cat. A few weeks back I locked myself out of the house with the garage door cracked for the cat. I had no choice but to squeeze myself through a gap 4 inches tall.

^ lol.
I picked up what I thought was a stray the other day. Thing is probably 4-6mo old and couldnt have weighed more than 5 lbs.
Now, I wouldnt juts take anyone's kitty inside with me, but this thing was so small, I couldn't believe it had an owner. It wouldn't eat dry food and when I got wet, it devoured it. It was also really dirty.
so instead of letting it go and maybe asking around the neighbors if they knew whos it was, we decided it was stray.
I took it to the vet the next day for a check-up and to see if it had a chip.
surprised to me, it did. They called and left a message and proceeded to examine the kitten. Turns out if had HORRIBLE teeth. Her fangs with brown and she had teeth that needed to be removed and her gums were bleeding and had lesions. Even the vet couldnt believe this cat had an owner.
We didnt get much further into the examination before the owner called in, said the cat was an outdoor cat, and didnt come home last night. I had to leave it with them.
I cant believe an owner would let some kitten outside in the cold with horrible teeth. That thing isn't going to last long. Really sad. I want to call back and see if I can find out if they convinced the owner to maybe start feeding the cat and get it dental work. If the owner didnt claim the cat, I would have gladly shelled out to have that cat into surgery THAT day. IT really explained the tuna breathe the cat had. I hope it comes back around so i can at least feed it.

We got another cat so that the remaining cat doesn't get lonely when we're out. We got him from the local animal sanctuary. As volunteers there, we got a chance to meet all the cats for a while. Its good to learn how their personalities really are instead of just choosing by looks alone.

Good, Ari...nice to see you with another kitty.
I'm about to lock my beast and the two other cats in the house four days while I'm in NM, I hope the kitties suffer no permanent psychological damage.
