I should film my cats. they come on command*.

*command as in I yell their names over and over and eventually they might come over. Actually my youngest almost always comes when I yell for him.

about yelling and they come to you. I have an indoor/outdoor cat. I yell his name at the back door when it is bed time and he comes to the door like a dog to come in for the night. Strangest thing ever for me.

My cat's the same, most of the time. Also works for food.

We might get another kitty by Thursday, any tips to make them not kill each other on sight?

All cats react differently, but it's good to keep them separated for a while and go from there. My two did surprisingly well with the kitten last year.

I believe Hustler has a thread about this. If he can keep Polly from killing interlopers the data is probably pretty good.

Bro. I don't even remember.

the first 4 with a bare flash as a fill.

the two on the wood pile I used an umbrella and flash at 1/4 power, you can see it in the catch light.

here's two from today:

this was two flashes. An umbrella at 1/2 power for key (camera left) and a diffused flash at 1/16 for a fill (camera right).

I also shoot in raw and HEAVILY edit my photos.

Here's an example:

and straight out of the camera:
