I found a pic of the 901, front on, and got these dimensions:

pixels: 446 wide 260 tall -> 516 diag
8.9"/516 = 0.01724
x446 = 7.69" wide
x260 = 4.48" tall

Measured pdf:
7.1875 wide
4.8437 tall
So yeah, like you said, the ratio's a bit off but it's basically fine. But if you correct them, I'll print them out and try to do something, I dunno, a couple pics of them stashed in various places of the car, plus one of it up on my screen.

I guess I can find a pixel/inch for my laptop and just show it on the screen, too.

Mythos

After looking the template in car I went in a local shop to examine the Eee PC701 in person after some fiddling around I was almost sure that it was perfect for waht I wanted so...I bought it!

I will take a series of pics of the EeePC in various places in car for anyone interested but first impression is that the display is high quality and would probably work great...(I also may have a mounting solution in my mind)

P.S: The...problem is that the reason the EeePC was offered in lower price it was the color. White/Pink anyone???

However since it will probably won't stay in it's cell for long I couldn't reason the extra cost going for the pimp black version. I hope the turbo under bonnet will keep the heterosexuality equilibrium in car...
