You don't have a clear understanding of what he is saying. I'm sure that Thomas Jefferson would be voting for Paul. We founded this country because of laws like the OP was quoting. Paul is wanting us to get back to what made this country what it was , not what it has become. His ideas sound crazy now but they would not have sounded crazy 100 years ago before we got so screwed up.

Right on. Look at his record. He has demonstrated outstanding integrity throughout his career. Can't say that for the other political ******.

Dumbest rebuttal ever. No, I understand what he is saying, he is looney.

Its like when someone ask if I like some music/art/movie and I say no and they respone "Then you didnt get it"

No I get it, it sucks.

Ron Paul, we get it. He sucks

The one thing i like his is grass roots movement which I hope will bring some decent candidates to the front that normally would be under the radar, I want him to prove that a grass roots movement can get someone noticed. Then i want someone worthwhile to prove a grassroots movement can get someone elected.

We started a revolution because what we were taxed something like .05%, what's our tax rate now?

ftw, Ron Paul is completely sane and everyone else is looney.

Well thank god there's check and balances in place to keep him from doing 90% of what he wants.

Ron Paul is ****** nuts... but often times choosing your elected officials is less about choosing the best man for the job and more about choosing the lesser of all the evils. I'll put it like this, Ron Paul or Hillary Clinton? Yeah, that's what I thought.

I'd rather see more of Rudy G myself, I thought he was great for NY... seems he's not a serious candidate though.

We didn't start a revolution based on taxes, if we all remember it was taxation without representation.

But really it was to make a whole lot of debt disappear

haha or someone whose ever read a history book. This country has an idea of grandness about our founders as if they were above the morality of normal men, and had vision that could only come around once in this planet's history.

Yes the US is the best, we are no1 fo sho, but lets not fool ourselves about what this country started as.

My rebuttal is based on seeing a lot of people misquoting him and in clearly not understanding what he said. Please give us an example of his lunacy so we know where you are coming from. I've listened to the man and I cannot find any such statements.
