X%#@X Miataforum....

People over there are so narrowminded. They dont ever look outside of the miata community to understand what else is going on in the import world. I really like to prove everyone wrong time and time again. It gives me great joy to shut someone up when they think they have a good argument and then I just blow holes through it. Check the last couple posts on that link I posted. I would have thought hypermiata would have been more understanding, but he got owned.

This might calm them down nice one philip
come on guys the tuned lenght increases overall effieciency and tubular manifolds like my megan racing stuff is holding up just fine just like in a SBC or other motor the runner size is also important to big and the exhaust velocity is decreased and overall flow is down to small and you get great velocity but nominal flow capacity. Miata people are the most handicapped by there fear of wiring and their stock difs esp the 1.6's the motors are stout they flow well and they have a nice rpm range to play with. The comparisons of hte different engines are exactly that take them for what they are worth in comparing flow rates via intake tract design and cam profiles with rpmsand compression taken into acount a motor is still a peice's of metal that make air moveand explodes something atleast in all the aforementioned cars. I know that the older people who populate this site and many others are easier to satisfy than the younger generation like andy and myself but that is no reason to try to constrain the FI veiws, of the forum and hold back the development of the miata as a real tuner car that anyone can mess with. It isnt that we dont respect yyour experience just that we are interested in seeing what can be done call it an eternal optimism and curiosity of youth or the young at heart for some.
