SEASONS 1-5:

background story...someone falls downs.
condition is unsolvable
house says mean things and tries risky procedures
simple cure (like drinking water to survive) is found through an epiphany

Screw that, House is awesome. I like the show, and I've watched damn near every episode released. I've also been keeping up with Heroes, Chuck, Lost and Burn Notice. I have no life...

House is just not as good without Wilson taking him down a notch every once in a while. Like the one where he sawed halfway through his cane. That's the stuff that makes it interesting.

House is just like Bones. always the exact same.

oh no i stumbled across a skeleton in a wall.
insert boredom.
insert epiphany.
insert ridiculous capture of murderer.
insert sexual tension.
insert my suicide.

I watch way too much TV. 4 Tivos/DVRs and a 4 1/2 year old kid don't allow me to get out much. House dropped off my list of shows this year based on Braine's description of every plot line of every episode of every season.

Do yourself a favor and download the torrent of 1 episode of House and watch it every time you get the itch.

It was really good through like season three, just seems like it's falling off the last couple season though.

Damn there's already 5 seasons of that show? Never seen it. The last medical drama I watched was Chicago Hope.

I don't just watch House for the medical mysteries. I like the underlying story. I haven't watched in a little while, but last I saw, he was hiring new people and going over the top. I guess its because I've followed the show from the first episode. I "power watched" the first two seasons in about a month and watched most of the 3rd season. I've fallen off now, but when I get a chance to catch an episode, I do enjoy it. The everyday medical stuff is like a filler for the story that takes place throughout each season. I don't even care about how he solves this or cures that. I like the way he manipulates his colleagues and how they retort. As mentioned, the cane being sawed through. Or even when his guitar was held hostage. Or when Wilson had to move in with him and it was unbearable, yet he couldn't bring himself to leave for a while. Just stuff like that.

The Wire.

I happen to like LOST but many will disagree, I can't see anyone disagreeing with the former.

Edit: Top Gear, so good I forgot it was even a TV show!
